How long should a title be?
Google cuts a title by width, roughly 600 pixels on desktop, which is often around 50 to 60 characters. Wide letters use more space, so the same number of characters can fit or not. Put your main keyword near the start and keep the meter green.
Will Google always show my meta description?
No. Google often writes its own snippet from the page text when it thinks that answers the search better. A clear, accurate meta description still gives it a good option to use.
